I'm just telling the truth. If you don't like it that's your fault.
You have the same free time as me, so you must be a ****** as well by your standards. Please use your brains when you try to insult me.
No, i'm mad that Ward is allowed to get away with cheating, not because he beats Euro fighters.
And don't call me Euro trash you fat American hick.
How can UK fighters be inferior when we've beaten you most of the time we've fought throughout history? So try again cupcake!
Did I ask you to be intimidated by me? No. So I don't know why you came out with that you freak.Comment

what truth are you telling me? That a fighter who has never been disqualified or had a point deducted is a dirty cheater? Stop with the excuses. If you had 2 working eyes and weren't on your knees taking loads in your eyeballs throughout the fight, you'd see that Kovalev did initiate plenty of holding and headlocks because he didn't want to fight on the inside. Btw, you are complete euro trash, I can tell by how your write. You're probably a yellow toothed tea sipping soccer playing pansie. I don't have the same free time as you as I made 1 comment on my opinion and you chose to respond like a butt hurt ***** just like you've been doing all day. Therefore this will be my final reply but, you have no stats as far as head to head match ups between us and uk. All i know is the US has a historically significant boxing history and there has never been a #1 p4p UK fighter and any of them who even have the balls to step up in comp always get washed. Like Hatton, like khan, like Naz, etc. This is actually the UK Golden age for boxing and all you have are cowards like eubank Jr, coke whore fury, and scrubs like the Smith Bros. Uks best ever fighter is coke head Calzaghe who strategically waited until the top American fighters were well past their prime to finally cross the pond and play with the big boys. I will now leave you to your miserable jobless /female less /inferior life.
USA! USA! USA! HahahahahahahahaComment

lol Byrd's reffing was fine, but it didn't hurt Kovalev, it helped him out big-time. Byrd would not let them work through the clinch in the first half of the fight. immediately broke them up before they could even try to start in-fighting. Andre is not used to that and it visibly frustrated him. Didn't matter though. He just buckled down and fought Kovalev in the danger zone.Comment

I agree. I had Kov. winning 115-112. But I can see it close for Ward as well. Rounds 5,6, 10,12 could of went either way. I gave Kov. all 1-6 and 10.Comment

Ward lost, Byrd might as well pulled up a chair at ringside, he was that "involved". Andre ward isn't a top 5 p4p.
And I read your ****** comment regarding don King, he complained and tried to get fights annulled, so next time you try and make a point try knowing your history a little better, because what you said embarrasses your level of knowledge, then again you say "that's all you could remember" like that matters. I guess all I can remember is Andre ward getting dropped and almost stopped in 2
Andre don't make adjustments in fights he turns them ugly if he can't outbox you....that's called having 2 options ....not being adaptable.
Kovalev was the only winner, but to call it a robbery was too much. Neither is p4p number 1, but I have kova ahead of ward....perception is 9/10ths of the boxing law, and most unbiased and smart people's perception is Kovalev wonComment

Whist I agree it Kovalev looked apprehensive when Ward was coming inside, he knew Ward would hit and work just as hard as himself so tying his opponent up and utilising his weight on Andre's neck would have an effect down the stretch I just felt Kovalev looked slower and more befuddled as the fight progressed into the latter stages as his power wasnt slowing Ward's work.
Great fight, I'm ready for a trilogy. Krusher has met his kryptonite a guy who doesn't wilt under power and pressure only excels and works harder himself.
Andre Ward is a special talent and rightfully THE POUND 4 POUND NO.1, Kovalev runs him an exceptionally close second.
Well done Weiland.Comment

While Ward was the one initiating the clinches, Kovalev more than welcomed them. He didn't make it into an issue and fed into the fight.
If you watch the first round, Byrd tried to keep them apart and gave them a talking to. He stopped when he realized they both wanted to wrestle.
Kathy is right in that there was too much clinching, but it wasn't the ref's fault. Kov wanted to prove his macho by beating Ward at his own game, and while he was often successful, it ultimately backfired.Comment
