I didn't enjoy the fight from a stylish point of view,but I admit that it was intriguing. I think Stevenson is the most exciting fighter at 175, even in his extended age , followed closely by Beterbiev. I definitely wouldn't mind seeing Ward or Kovalev against either leaving room to build the rematch up in the interim.

The fans may be torn on who won but the big majority think Kovalev clearly won. If you don't believe it watch the polls on who won and see. The people who think Ward won are mostly dedicated Ward fans and bias. I am not going to give Ward props for winning a fight I don't think he won. I didn't give Bradley props when he "beat" Pacquiao. This fight wasn't as big a robbery as the 1st Pac vs Bradley fight was but the wrong guy won in my opinion.

I correct it. 90% of fans thought Kovalev won. 10% of Ward fans or american fans think Ward won.

So is kov a ward fan cos he's saying he only lost due to mental issues nobody knew about
He also says he will be better prepared for the rematch
Sound like excuses to me but the main thing is even kov is now admitting he lost

It's so intriguing too because we are left with the exact scenario and expectations that he had before the fight. How often does that happen? We saw that Ward can outlast Kovalev. We also saw that Sergey can drop Dre and give him problems. I favor Ward in a rematch but seeing how diverse the spectrum of opinions are, it looks to still be a 50/50 fight in the rematch! Can't ask for more.

im so excited... not. Weve just seen them fight, it wasnt some fight of the year, its not going to look drastically different if they fight straight away again. I dont like immediate rematches much anyway cause they are usually very simialar. I'd like to see one of them fight stevenson, one fight beterbiev. Then fight each other again later on down the line.
