    The only reason why it appeared that ward was coming on,in the later part of the fight, is because Kovalev was beating up ward to such a degree that it looked like a mismatch.

    The later part of the fight myth, is just that kovalev was not as dominating as earlier in the fight.

        Fight was very close but Kovalev was the aggressor most of the fight. Kovalev threw more punches, landed the more effective punches. Ward did come strong in 2nd half of fight and Kovalev was getting tired,output dropping, but Sergei still just edged it.

        IMHO scorecards were correct but for the wrong fighter. Call it a robbery, corruption, local fighter getting the nod, bad judging, whatever. Sergei should have won.
