I really WANTED ward to win but no way did he win 8 rounds required to overcome that 10-8 round by Kovalev.

Was hoping for a draw on the cards actually to better build up a rematch.

i honestly think ward won but it wasnt decisive in any shape or form. i can see how some people have kovalev winning a bunch of rounds but imho most were won by ward. i dont think it warrented the belt but the boxer in me feels ward was just land more effective, accurate, crisper shots to kovalevs non effective shoulder/rolled punches

Thank you! I'm so happy I didn't bet on Kovalev. At +120 I thought he was a safe bet. But I knew something like this could happen. He kicked Ward's ass, and still lost the fight. Unreal!
