Definitely a robbery. Great chess match, but Kovalev stunned him several times and had a brutal knockdown. Ward adapted well but didn't do enough. Needs a rematch.

i scored it 114-113 granted i probably gave ward every possible round tho i think he won them clearly but whoever lost this fight was gonna scream robbery thats for sure rematch gonna be huge

I wouldn't have had a problem with Kovalev taking it by a point. It was that type of fight though. One point either way. Ward ended up getting it.

Horrible job by HBO. Lampley and Lederman hugging Kovalev's nuts the entire fight. Kellerman and Roy apologizing for Ward the entire fight. Atrocious, irresponsible commentary.

Let's be honest, Kovalev had.no shot at winning a close decision. Thought he won close but clear. Went exactly how I thought it would only Kov should have finished better. It's a shame he lost.
