I didn't see Kovalev looking nervous like so many are saying. He seemed to be enjoying himself for the most part, and there was no tension in the vocal chords when he spoke. Some might say he was smiling too much, but he just does that at weigh-ins.
He looked a little drawn-out but that seems to be his standard look at a weigh-in.

Ward looked irritated, which some might read into. But, again, that seems to be his MO at weigh-ins.

The only thing I really took away is that both guys are mentally ready and Andre is physically dialed-in as a LHW.

I expect to see some great breakdowns of how Ward took away Kov's weapons! Neutralizing his equalizer and delivered precise counters!

I dunno if it's going to be easy but yeah, Ward will stifle Kovalev up close and then push him back and the Krushers real weakness is trying to fight on the back foot. Admittedly, overt he last 18 months or so he could have worked on that so...maybe we're all wrong.

I'm a Kovalev fan and if he wins, I'd be more than happy to say I was wrong and join in with the celebrations lol

Nothing easy about taking away the weapons and what an opponent does good in a very good fighter in Kovalev!

It may seem like it but making a solid champion Kov make mistakes is a tall order for most but not for an elite boxer in SOG!

I think going inside will be part of the game plan Virgil Hunter and Ward have concocted and other part will be moving laterally with double feints and some touch jabs!

Body work will be early investment for Andre to see how Krusher likes it when the fight gets late and he's desperate for that highlight reel KO!

No excuses and winner should get huge credit while loser should still be given a good shake and still a player in the division!

There was lots of weights in when somebody was "nervous" or looked "bad " and Then won a fight ,weight ins are not even half as important as ppl think .Kovelev was never very muscular ,he looked like allways ,idk who will win but weight in showed as nuthing
