I'm backing Kovalev and if Ward beats him easily, I'll still back him. He does awesome things in the ring and he's fun to watch. A fighter doesn't have to beat everybody he fights in order to be fun. That type of thinking is very dull.
By the same token, if Ward loses, there will probably be plenty of excuses to go along with that as well. How about we just say that whoever wins is exceptional, as is the other guy. Up to this point, we know they both are high up in the sport. No matter what happens, at this moment, they are highly regarded for plenty of reasons. One fight shouldn't kill anybody's momentum. It won't for me.
