Cano won that fight. Feel bad for Herrera because he got screwed twice in his career but Frankie Gomez took his heart from him and seemed to not have recovered.

Cano probably gets Lucas next when he returns next year. Not sure Herrera gets released but he's now going to be an opponent for prospects now.

I like Gibson he's improving nicely by fight. He needs a step up in competition. He's got the skills to be a worthy contender but I'm not sure how he will do with a guy who has power.

Also the prospects Cabrera, Franco, Duarte and Diaz looked very good. These guys have very good foundations and skills.

Frankie didn't take his heart. Herrera is simply an old man now. He's going to be 37 years old. I knew he was deteriorating when he fought Hank Lundy. It's obvious he's on the decline. I think Frankie would have beat the Herrera that fought Danny Garcia but it would have been close. This Herrera is past it. Herrera's style was outworking opponents. He's not the same fighter anymore. Herrera was tired against Cano...in a 10 round fight...where he didn't even throw as much as he used to.
