This is true, actually. We saw it with Pascal for instance, a guy he wanted to punish and he dragged it out in the most menacing way rather than turning emotional in the ring. Cold assassin.

nothing wrong with the ref. in evry pro sports we see this kind of thing happen all the when an athlete push the boundary of the rules. football, basketball even in road race cycling we see bikers using dirty tricks.

i thought he kovalev fight was one of his dirtiest performances to date. he threw some obviously intentinal low blows. would literally grab kovalev by the leg, and if kovalev wasn't tall and strong he'd have probably been tackled.


kovalev is no saint himself, but i thoguht the disproportioate disciplining of kovalev over ward from the ref was all wrong.



what i dn't agree with is the idea that ward should be DQ'd from the kessler fight, or that he has to be dirty to win. watch the froch fight. all he did was box circles around froch on the outside, and beat him up inside. had a broken hand, too.

Yea he is dirty, maybe dirtier than hopkins. Ive seen too many times where he dove in head first.. i saw the kessler fight the other day and seriously, fk him.
