It's not a dumb question.

That guy asked a legitimate question, asking if Ward felt Kovalev was his best opponent so far, he didn't answer. He then asked another legit question on whether or not he felt this fight would take him to the next level, either personally or in the eyes of the fans/media. He refused to give a straight answer yet again.

This isn't Ward cracking under the pressure, it's just Ward trying to be more like a Mayweather style person who avoids questions because he believes the person asking him is below him OR he doesn't feel confident enough to answer it on an intellectual level.
