Comments Thread For: Liborio Solis: I Beat Jamie McDonnell By Two To Three Points

Arriving back in his adopted land of Panama this week, Liborio Solis is remarkably philosophical when talking to BoxingScene.com about his controversial defeat to Jamie McDonnell last Saturday in Monte Carlo. The Venezuelan appeared to many to have done enough to take the WBA bantamweight title from the Doncaster fighter, but the judges ruled otherwise.

He is quite magninimous there because he probably won the first 8 rounds from what I was watching.

I don't really remember scoring the fight but I don't think McDonnell got anything going until round 9!

I think McDonnell is going to move up though isnt he?

        he definitely won the fight

if hearn is really making the sosa-smith rematch, then this rematch should be on the undercard again

Jamie McChicken cant afford to give rematches to all the opponents hes robbed! I'm not even kidding I had him losing to : Kameda ( twice ),and Solis..biggest thief in boxing a true James Bond from the UK...I should make a meme of him as 007 in Monaco.

The Kameda fights were close. Could have gone either way. This fight was horrible scored by wack ass biased judges. Solis definitely won.

A rematch is good, but in the UK? If Liborio was robbed in Monaco, what makes him think chasing the thief home is going to improve the situation. Liborio was a long shot, he's not that good. Jaimie is a lackluster champion, that's all. His talent seems to be survival, because he's not exactly blazing a path or terrorizing anybody.
