It's not about winning, or losing. It's about steeping in the ring with the best competition in the business.
He fought a guy in his weight class. How is that stepping up?

      For sure

"It was tongue in cheek back then. I was being a bit cheeky and you can take those comments with a pinch of salt. What I will say though is this guy can ****ing punch: he's dangerous and if he can be avoided we'll avoid him. "

Kell took his punches on the chin pretty well for a welterweight. Froch has a granite chin and is alot bigger than him. Let's not forget that Abraham was a beast at middleweight and was stopping everyone, he then stepped up to SM and got schooled by Froch.

I think super six Froch would have walked through everything Golovkin threw at him and stopped him late. Too big and too strong!
Yeah Froch would definitely stop GGG. Size simply matters and it's a big gap from 160 to 168 come fightnight.

GGG makes easy work of him, IMO.
I thought the win that put Froch's respect among fans over the top was his TKO destruction of undefeated and favorite to win, Lucian Bute. Many people, including me, thought Bute would win on the eyes of the fans but get robbed in Nottingham. The easy TKO was shocking and made me respect Froch after years of not liking the guy, I became a fan after that

They are actually worse at least pac had wins over wold level fighters to back up some of their claims. Golovkin fans have hypothetical matchups and slagging off retired fighters.

I say it was when he was the BIG underdog against Taylor, but came back from a big big KD. Ofcourse he also traveled to Taylor here.

well as in being stopped in 5 or being at the verge of losing an eye sight?

sure.. only groves can crack that kind of chin. Froch would go full mayorga mode.

I would really support GGG if it hadn't been for all his MMA fans swarming this site.
