I mostly bring them because both of them, (Direll and Bute,) GGG and Froch shares them as opponents, and they almost are most impressive Froch wins, Direll for the record, Bute for the fashion.

    Well, GGG beat them too.

But I guess amateur "doesn't count"?
Just like Bowe nuthuggers regarding how Lennox humiliating him in the ams?

What is amateur boxing, a fantasy life?

Ward is more than a challenge.

Moving 2 weight classes in order to beat the P4P king who will have a weight/reach advantage over you best is clearly more than a challenge.

I'm thinking about somebody moving up to beat the P4P best (should Ward beat Kova as he's supposed too) and I'm only thinking about Duran beating Leonard.

What I would call a challenge for GGG is beating Jacobs (the other MW champion) or taking the Jack/ Degale winner.

People wanting to see GGG jump on Ward are people wanting to see GGG loses, not about GGG being challenged.

Just like people wanting to see Ward move up to face Usyk since Usyk would box a whole trough SOG.

Or people wanting to see Floyd vs GGG since GGG would jab Floyd's nose through his cranium.

It's no big mystery, when the potential opponents say things like body not ready, swerve him like the plague, he beats me and Eubank on the same night, I want him in 18 months, no need for guessing.

How can you call a guy out for not " stepping up" when he wanted to fight you? Kind of makes no sense. Same as Canelo keep saying GGG hasn't fought anyone when he dropped the title rather than fight the guy. As far as I know, you can't fight guys who won't get in the ring with you

The thing is Ward is the only " real challenge " for GGG simply because the MW division is very weak for him to be a atg in , GGG is not a young champion he needs to do something great , something that defines him , you guys think its knocking over title holders that wouldnt be top 5 in a different era , being great is about beating other ATGs and beating the very elite that is what defines fighters , its who you beat not the title they happen to hold .

GGG has fought one elite fighter and he was a WW , think about that when comparing him to other ATGs .

You can't compare fighters still learning to the finished product in the pros.
