Pretty obvious i think.

If he was going to fight again, i believe it would have happened in September. He's smart enough from a boxing perspective to know that at 40, he's really on the slide. There's no way he comes out of retirement for any fight and his usual purse. I still think there's an outside chance he could fight Pac again if it's $100m+ but aside from that, he's never getting in the ring again. If that doesn't happen by May 2017, i think it's safe to say he's retired for good.

Maybe he did have it in mind to fight once more. Roach said Floyd had used one of his gyms to work out? - maybe he went in the gym for bit of training and had no desire anymore and had decided it's over. Everyone around him and close to him seems to think he won't fight again.
