Why wouldn't Mayweather have a chance at beating Connor in the octagon? Is Connor going to take Floyd down and submit him? Connor would stand a strike with Floyd. Floyd just needs to learn how to defend kicks as well as he does punches. Floyd would bust up Connor with straights rights and check hooks all night until Connor panicked and goes for a take down.

Have you seen some of those fights? Most of those guys dance around the octagon trying to find an opening to land a big shot. Most just rush in throwing wild haymakers. Nobody is fighting upclose throwing punches without them trying to take you down. Doubt Connor would get close enough to bully Floyd as he would be taking punches to the face. Only way Connor were to beat floyd in MMA is if he took him down to the mat. Couture's only chance of beating Toney was because he was wrestler and not a striker. Ask Tim Silva who was more of striker what happened to him when stood there with a boxer.
