Comments Thread For: Cano: Fight Against Mauricio Herrera Will Be My Launching Pad

Pablo Cesar Cano is coming off a loss, the fifth of his career and the fourth in his past eight fights. Yet that latest defeat, a split decision dropped to Alan Sanchez on May 6, doesn't seem to bother him that much.

This is an absolute cross roads match. The winner in my opinion gets a Lucas fight when he returns next year.

The loser will probably be a gatekeeper for up and coming prospects that Golden Boy has.

The words "scar tissue" come to mind every time I see Cano's name. Dude bleeds like a pig in damn near every fight, reminds me of Jorge Barrios at times.

Dude's a warrior and I'm always tuned into a Herrera fight, so both guys should put on a good show in this one!

Two duds fighting it out to claim themselves as the main gatekeeper of 2017....n pls I dont want to read any comments on how Herrera beat Garcia because that is false..Herrera lost , Danny just didn't look good winning, kind of like everyone who fights sergio mora...minus his last fight lol

PCC has had some bad luck losing the fight versus room O'Reilly and then the other laws were you really want seems like he's almost turned himself into an opponent type...

This is what boxing has to offer lol. This is a pathetic matchup I wouldnt watch even if I got paid to do it. Herrera is a good person but he is boring and a loser, and so is Cano. Two journeymen collide.. Seriously, come on.
