Hatton's promotional team is smart man. They're complimenting the opponent jsut because there is the possibility that he could make Hatton look bad. They did the same thing with Maussa.

Collazo has been waiting his whole life for a fight like this to prove himself. You think hes not determined? When Collazo lost his only fight against Cassiani, after that Collazo went to Cassiani's camp and begged for a rematch. He was back where he started. Fighting bums for short money and waiting for his chance. Then he won that war against Rivera and won the WBA title. Then he beat the experienced, but definately shot, Gonzalez by TKO in the 8th. He wants to hold on to this belt more than anything. Now that he is champion he is searching for a big fight to make a name for himself. Before he even signed contracts to fight Mayweather,Baldomir,Mosley,Cotto,Gatti, and Margarito earlier this year. Thats how much he wanted a big fight. Then the Hatton fight came up and Collazo is more determined then ever.

...Yes, and? What's your point? You're living in ****in' LA-LA land buddy. What good is determination when you don't have the skill to go along with it. Just for your information, I'm not saying he has no skill BUT many people think just because a fighter is determined then he's going to win. WRONG!!

Collazo is solid from what ive seen, but nothing extra-ordinary. He may give ricky a few problems early on, but ricky stops him down the stretch i would think.

So what bro you think just cause Hatton is determined he will win? WRONG. Being determined dont make up for skill. I wa sjust telling you Collazo is just as determined as Hatton, if not more.
