    i wasnt sure if these were actual fighters, but they were. they really did fight in 1950. cartier knocked bobby james out in the 2nd round. james never won a fight after this bout, and he hadn't won a bout since 8 fights before the cartier fight.

    cartier went on to fight and lose to kid gavilan, bobo olson, and randy turpin.

      Great Post!

      Poor guy had to breathe in all that cigarette smoke during lunch, more smoke (from a stogie no less) in the dressing room then had to go and fight in a smoke-filled arena.

        I've seen this before. Pretty cool. It's like all of the 24/7's fifty years before they were thought of. Kubrick was a visionary.
