My take on Carl 'The Cobra' Froch

I cannot believe Carl thinks beating Groves makes him a SUPERSTAR TBE around the bloody world.

Froch got SMASHED by Kessler and made to look like an OLD MAN by Andre Ward - who put on a masterclass.

Froch vs Groves 1 was obviously a FIX - it was so blatant, they were never ever going to let Groves win that fight.

I just hope the £2.5 million Groves picked up in the second fight at Wembley was invested smartly and not wasted.

p.s I will remember Groves putting Froch on his ASS in the first fight and the ref Howard Foster probably and VERY likely taking a bung (brown envelope) - terrible stoppage it was.

Notice that hate only came when a certain section of fans needed to devalue him as a fighter to suit their agenda.

When he was fighting and soon after his retirement the overwhelming opinion was, that this was a guy who fought murderers row, a true iron man.

He was one of those fighters who wouldn't wait for an opposing fighter to show his weaknesses - he would go looking for them, and more often than not he would find them.

Not the most skilled - not the fastest - but my god was he effective. HOF'er for me also.

I agree here. Isn't there a saying about a carpenter and his tools? Idk how it goes but I've always said, it's not about the tools you possess but about knowing how to make them work.

Broner for example, he had all the tools in the toolbox but well, didnt know how to make them work when stepping up.

I really don't get it. I wasn't always a fan, but he turned me into one. He fought everybody. Not the most talented, but he made up for it in other ways.
