    Many observers feel that the super fight between WBA/IBF/WBO light heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev (30-0-1) and former super middleweight champion Andre Ward is close to a 50-50 fight.

          I'm glad he acknowledged that Barrera was a solid fighter, although he has reason to be biased because he trains him. Ward said that it doesn't matter who the tune-ups were, so in my eyes, it won't matter who the tune-ups were. He either wins or loses. It will be interesting to see how this plays out...

              It's a lot more possible than the general "Ward by decision or Kovalev by KO" crowd thinks. Ward is too skilled and rough to KO easily, so if Kovalev is winning the fight Ward can definitely last the 12. Plus Kovalev has shown in the past that he's content to outbox a dangerous opponent. I feel like if he's outboxing Ward, he'll be happy to prove his skill by continuing to do so, rather than push for the stoppage.

                              People forget, Ward was only given a MD over Froch. I expect Kovalev to be in control for much of this fight, either clear UD for Kovalev or TKO at anytime. Ward's not winning this fight.
