I think training would effect him, While he should be in the gym gaining confidence in what he does best; he shouldnt be out and about doing interviews and chats on any websites when he WAS the undisputed champion. When you are not in the gym training and you will lose your focus and that is what happened to Cory. Cory thought he could cruise to a decision and the judges would be in his favor as this was not the case.

Cory needs to go back to the GYM and rethink his priorities and gain composure and put his confidence in a bottle, his arrogance cost him the fight and costed him millions of dollars. At this point I dont see Spinks make anymore big noise in the welterweight division UNLESS Judah gives him a rematch but that wont be the case, King will sit him out for a few months and throw him in with Mosley or De La Hoya.

        Cory blew his chance.

cory should go at mosley or delahoya, or even margarito first, then clamor for a re-match with zab, all it takes is one big win, you see the drawing power he has in st louis, that wont be lost on don king, that's a guarantee!

A fight with Mosley would be a good one for both fighters, However we should see how Mosley performs at 147 (his best days wasnt their) but perhaps he would be a bit more faster. That would be a pretty good matchup for Spinks as well. De la hoya, I dont know tough call from tonights perspective I would go with De la hoya but with Spinks being the boxer and likes to move a lot (where was that tonight?) he may give the slipping de la hoya and Mosley trouble.

Margarito isnt fast enough, look at the Mayorga fight.

Mosely would be his best option to come back, maybe even a 154 clash with Winky.

I happy for Judah he had his ups and downs but his time finally came. I hope we see a trilogy but I dont it will happen because of Don Kings lack of a spine.

Look spinks didnt do anything different from the last fight. But ZAB did, he came out faster, stronger and more confident. Thats why he won. I find it hard to belive the undisputed welter weight champion didnt train well for an opponent who nearly beat him the last time they met. Besides do you really belive doing interviews would derail your entire training schedule? Guys come on zab was better (at least tonight he was) periord.
