    He also stated that Canelo has until then to make him an offer for a rematch.

              well he's not good enough to beat any elit fighters(unless he drags them up) so what's the point? fighting bums just to go out on top and make some money? not interested.

                  no im saying retire now since going out on top is just a way to make easy money against bums. hes not going to add anything signficant to his legacy so just leave us alone and stop holding up boxing and letting canelo off the hook since we know people will say well a cotto fight is a big fight therefore hes not ducking ggg

                    The problem here is you misunderstood what I meant by "going out on top".

                    Cotto is going out on top now if he retires tomorrow. Going out on top means going out at the top of the sport, which he is, regardless if his last fight was a loss.

                    Going out on a WIN is something different.
