Yeah, as a boxer, Pete has said and done (or not done) a lot of things some people take issue with. I chalk that up to him playing the game the way he thinks it works best for him. Once his career is over, the fans aren't going to pay his bills or care for him if he's got a screw loose from too many punches. As a human being, he strikes me as a pretty cool guy. I'll take that over a great fighter, but a questionable person.Comment

You went to a Lara fight and didn't invite me you ****? Was Dave in this with you too? How about Javier, was he in this ****? I hope not. Yall done ****ed up, homie!I met Pete at the last Lara fight in Miami. He spent a lot of time talking to fans, including myself. Took as many pictures as everyone wanted. Very warm guy. I agree, he's not like most professional fighters. I get this feeling he views boxing as merely a component of his life, a vehicle for him to get where he's going. Perhaps ultimately that's not a good thing for his career, but I do believe it makes for a fuller life. In any event, I see Pete regularly on Facebook. He's definitely training.Comment

Haha Dave was there. Javier, no. My memory isn't what it used to be, but I'd be willing to bet we reached out to you, so chill the fuck out.
Just make sure you're available for next time.

My mEmory still what it used to be and I don't remember any reaching out. This is some bs! I can't believe Dave betrayed me too and I bet Javier would had as well if he had the chance. I'm crossing over to a different nationality. Can't trust Cubans anymore.Comment

Haha Keep ya shirt on. No es pa tanto. Besides, it was a shitty fight, a shitty card and a shitty night (rained at the outdoor venue). Let's hope next time it's a better deal. I'll make certain you're advised.
