What makes you think they will fight in a cage? Connor has no leverage in a fight with Floyd because Floyd is the bigger star. Floyd will pick him apart like he does to everyone.

Yes... the fight doesn't make sense either way...

Lol. How does this benefit the UFC or McGregor? The UFC wants to risk their star get beat by a boxer for some PPV experiment? The UFC isnt in the interest to gain profits for Conor. His ass gets a flat fee. And Conor should be reminded he doesnt rule Vegas nor does Floyd rock out in NYC. But who knows, he could give Conor that much at MSG for a pugilist match.

because after this past weekend, conor is now trying to play boss man. he wants equal share of the ufc and he wants to be paid an insanely large amount from now on. dana wont let this happen so the only way to soften conor up is to give in and set a match against floyd.

have conor lose then he wont have leverage to call shots anymore. he'll go running back to dana and do as he's told. this wont really effect the ufc or conor's star power because dana white can easily say it was a boxing match thats why conor lost but if it was an mma match conor would win.

its better to have conor to lose to floyd in a boxing match than to have conor lose in his next ufc fight. this way if he lose to floyd in a boxing match they can still hype him up and promote him as the best mma fighter. if he loses in his next ufc fight then they pretty much cant promote him as the best mma fighter anymore.
