I would side with the Adonis camp if Kovalev showed any inclination in demanding more money than what HBO offered. He did not, and he was perfectly happy with it.

Possibly, but with Ward not having any ties to HBO following the fight, there's a distinct chance that it doesn't get exercised.

The biggest fights are being positioned for the biggest stages that PBC has to offer.

If Ward beats Kovalev, and Ward-Stevenson becomes the fight to be made, Roc Nation (on behalf of Ward) and GYM (on behalf of Stevenson) will hash out the biggest package for the fight, and put it wherever things make the most sense for everyone.

Stevenson's last 4 opponents have been Sukhotsky, Bika at 175, Karpency and Thomas Williams. For a top 10 LHW like Stevenson, that's an almost embarrassing streak. Fighting a low top 10 fighter in Alvarez doesn't remedy that awful streak
