Youll all be scratching your heads after this fight too, wondering how you didnt see it coming...
I was genuinely concerned for Hopkins safety in the Kovalev fight because it was clear to me that he was way better than guys like Shumenov and Murat. But please find a post where I say Hopkins was going to win let alone school Kovalev.... I'm riding with Ward but I've always said a typical Kovalev victory would not shock me, this fight is 50-50.

Ward in his current state as you would put it is still better than Chilemba and Pascal so there's plenty of reason to think that he will be a tough outing for Kovalev... after all who did Chilemba beat that led him to give Kovalev a less than stellar outing?? Don't call me a puglist, I don't box ..... you don't have to box to be able to understand the sport at a level beyond the rather low one you frequently display. Anyway the fight is 5 days away so we'll found out soon enough. The winner just might leave the ring a legend lol

One of the reasons I'm leaning towards Kovalev is that statement. Yes, overall, Ward is better than Chilemba and Pascal. But both of those guys took some huge shots from Kov. Chilemba, who 'exposed' Kovalev, took some shots on the chin that were cringeworthy. I just don't think Ward can take them. But yeah, it's a 50/50.

alright, maybe you did or didnt, although i wasnt on the forum at the time, i saw a lot of predictions on other sites and there was a LOT of people picking hopkins, although strangely it seems as if noone on nsb admits to it lol, which i find quite unlikely.
Yeah we shall see, at least im sticking my head out, get most people saying 'ward could outbox him, but kovalev might ko him!' no ****, people need to get the splinters out of there arse and make a proper prediction lol. hahaha and nice dig at the end, hasnt gone unnoticed

Ward has never faced a guy as big, skilled, and angry a Kovalev.

I could see a TKO or late KO in Kovs favor sure.

Boone may have been in the ring with both but he should know both guys have significantly improved since they fought him!

Kov is more experienced at the world championship level was put through some minor adversity in his fights with Cleverly, 1st Pascal fight and recently the always awkward and extremely durable Chilemba and he came out strong and win!

Ward is more refined and has added world championship experience to his ledger, not to mention he's shown to have a DOG in him which will be important against a cold stone savage in Kovalev!

That DOG in him will be a main ingredient in why he wins this fight; that and his movement!

            Cant wait!!!

Ward by UD but gets rocked several times and still puts on a virtuoso performance!!
