Latest Darnell Boone interview on Kovalev/Ward..

    On Ward:

I don’t think Ward really wants this fight, because if you’re fighting the #1 guy at a weight you’re not used to yet, why would you fight the guys you were fighting (Paul Smith, Sullivan Barrera, Alexander Brand) to get ready for Kovalev?” Those guys aren’t near the caliber, or have the fundamentals or similarities in style to Kovalev..

I think Andre’s skill set is superb, I just don’t think his body is up for this task. He won his last fights but was getting caught way too much. When Kovalev hits him with those same shots, he’s gonna react. He’s not moving, he’s not using subtle movement the way he used to, he’s sitting in the pocket too long and he’s flat-footed. (Sullivan) Barrera was so inexperienced; he should have never been able to touch Ward (in their bout this March)..
When Boone first locked horns with Sergey Kovalev he lost a competitive split decision over eight rounds. When they fought again less than two years later, ‘Krusher’ stopped him in two rounds. He noticed differences in Kovalev over that time:

He was more mobile, and his power had a huge difference.
    On Ward/Kovalev vs Stevenson:

They’d both beat him, he’s nothing special. Kovalev by KO, Ward by decision
    On Lara v Golovkin:

Lara will get stopped by GGG.
When it comes to his official prediction for Kovalev-Ward, Boone doesn’t pull any punches:

If Ward can’t muster up anything close to what he used to be, he’s gonna get knocked out by ten rounds. I got Kovalev stopping Ward late or winning a decision
    WOW! Good stuff... Thoughts?

You're not a clueless clown because of your Kovalev vs Ward prediction, it's a very real and logical possibility that Kovalev could dominate and crush him.

..... You're a clueless clown because of your numerous and quite frankly moronic posts that show you don't know anything about boxing other than what you occasionally dig up from boxrec. You were recently quoted as saying that boxing is more simple than it's made out to be. It would seem that way when you're clueless as to what you are watching.

Boone is "training" with GGG at the Big Bear gym...

Therefore, one can't expect hearing anything good about Ward from that direction...

He's actually not being derogatory. He acknowledges his skill-set yet questions how his body will hold up. Sounds fair..

I know what Boone just said -- he actually reiterates what he said one or two months ago...
... but as he is GGG's "sparring partner" and he's the only one who floored Ward at the pros, one cannot expect him to act like a Ward fan...

I'd think he'd be more derogatory about Kovalev as he has said before how he was robbed in that fight and how he knocked Kov down 4 times but was only credited with the one.

yeah you and the other so called pugilists over complicate things, like in this fight. Your all analysing it to such extreme detail that you miss out on the most clear points, which is that a fighter who hasnt fought anyone good at light heavy and noone good in five years, is probably going to struggle against a guy whos been demolishing everyone at light heavy. you and the other 'pugilists' were no doubt the people who said hopkins would be too 'clever' for kovalev. again that one was pretty easy to predict and i said that would be a beatdown too, an old man with no power against a young champion who punches twice as hard. Youll all be scratching your heads after this fight too, wondering how you didnt see it coming...

I'm aware of this claim, but nobody could provide a video so far...
