Hatton vs Julio early 07?

I would pay anything in the world to see that fight. Julio is a guy who Ive been high on since the 1st time I saw him like 10 fights ago and with both of these guys style, it would have fight of the year written all over it. Ofcourse Hatton could kill him like Margarito did Cintron but I think Julio is 10x better then Cintron and wont go out like that.

One thing I hate about boxing is that you have to wait so long for everything and that a million things can happened between now and then but I would definatly love to see it. I just wish we didt have Urkal's washed up ass in the way and we could go straight to it.

WBA outlines conditions for fight to be sanctioned
The WBA has conditionally agreed to sanction the Luis Collazo-Ricky Hatton fight subject to the following:

1) The winner will be committed to face #1 rated Oktay Urkal within 120 days of May 13.
2) The winner against Urkal must face the winner of the Joel Julio-Carlos Quintana eliminator no later than February 13, 2007

If the gay ass WBwhatever has its way Hatton will face Collazo, then Oktay Urkal then Joel Julio...sorry not interested!

Sure Julio is a nice looking fighter but he is not even a contender yet...Hatton has serious business at hand and even if Joel Julio is legit he needs to wait his turn.

Hatton has a lot of options including making the biggest fight in the sport currently with Mayweather...lets not get sidetracked by some hard hitting Colombian who has yet to fight a guy in the top 20 in the world.

I wouldnt say all that,Im not sold on Julio either but,@147 he is damn big & strong,he actually fights above that weight,and has showed some skill,Unless Julio turns out to have no chin,it would by no means be an easy fight for Hatton.

Theres been some talk now that Arum might let Cotto go straight for Hatton but if not then I guess Hatton will fight Urkal. The only good thing about this sorry Urkal fight is that after it, no matter what, Hatton will pretty much have to have a big time fight. His only other option will be to give up his belt but I dont think he would do that in this case.

After the Urkal fight he will either face someone like Cotto, Castillo, Chico, Floyd, or "maybe" Margarito.

He could also fight the winner of Gatti-Baldy but I dont think anyone would want to see a Baldy fight and thats the only one he can make that will suck. He could fight Gatti and that should be exciting but Im not as thrilled about that fight as alot of you are.

But the great thing is that if all of them fails then he has to fight his mandatory which should be Julio and that would be a must see fight
