I'm not even a Thruman fan, but I won't talk shyt on Keith if he decides to use his brain to win this one. Fact is, he takes each opponent differently. He knew Shawn would bring major pressure and he wisely pressured back, as not to be overwhelmed. He knows Danny will be looking for mistakes to counter. I fully expect Keith to stick and move. Why should he compromise? Because some guys online taunted him?
Running when hit (which I've seen him do twice) is one thing, boxing is another.

If you only enjoy crude slugging and despise technique, youtube is full of street fights and other garbage for those who just crave violence. For the rest of us, there's boxing.

As a fan nothing is worse than seeing the naturally bigger guy running, this fight has a lot of buzz right now, but I guarantee you that if Keith goes into full "run time" mode no matter who wins the fight it'll will be yet another loss for boxing and a squandered opportunity. I hope I'm wrong.
The parameters of the fight have been set for some time now; Danny Garcia doesn't do as well when he's got to navigate a fighter that moves on him, and Keith Thurman doesn't do as well when he's got a fighter that crowds his space. You add that Danny Garcia takes a really good shot to the chin, and Keith Thurman has shown that he's got issues with body shot, and it's not like Thurman's comments are some revelation.

If Thurman enters the fight, fully intent on sitting there and simply ****ing it out with Danny Garcia, Danny catches him in between shots with some **** and it's likely a long bad night for Keith.

Focus on what you do well (especially if it's something that the opponent handles poorly).

cant really see thurman 'running', why would he, i must have missd the part where garcia turned into a ferocious power puncher at 147. I think thurmans just going to bust him up pretty badly, hes not going to bullrush garcia but i seriously doubt hes going to be scared to exchange with him. think it will be a pretty entertaining, albiet fairly one sided fight

I think most people are overlooking the perception of Thurman vs the reality. He calls himself "one time" and yells to heavens ko's for life, and then he plays Wilie Pepp at the first sign of trouble. This fight he has been spouting about how he's a "true" Welterweight, (forgetting that Mayweather and Pacquiao have ruled the division for a decade) if he feels that he can impose his physicality on Danny then he should do it. If he runs as much as he did against Bundu I will never watch another one of his fights and he should receive very little rise in profile if he wins.

Thurman was hit 235 times against Porter, that's more than Danny has ever been hit in a fight. I don't that he'll run because Danny's a good puncher, I think that has become a part of his style. He ran from Bundu.
