Comments Thread For: Danny Garcia: Talking About Terence Crawford is Irrelevant

There's been plenty of back-and-forth between former junior welterweight champion Danny Garcia and current junior welterweight champion Terence Crawford, as well as between Crawford and the 147-pound titleholder's father/trainer, Angel.

"He's over there doing his thing on HBO."

Last I checked Haymon and Arum were trying to work together and putting a card on HBO so that excuse is out the window.

        What he says is true.
No point in talking about a fight that isn't happening yet.
Danny should be focused on Thurman.

But they can. John Molina is a Haymon fighter and he's fighting Crawford and on HBO as well.

I'll tell you guys one thing. If Thurman beats Garcia, and Crawford beats Pacquiao, that Crawford-Thurman fight will be big enough for a small PPV.

That is how you build superstars. By chaining big fights together, not one big fight every two years. And I even forget Floyd and Spence. Maybe do Thurman-Garcia winner vs Floyd, Crawford-Pacquiao winner vs Spence, then winner of Garcia/Thurman-Floyd and Crawford/Pacquiao-Spence fight each other. THAT is how you build big fights.

I don't want to hear about the network stuff, but he has a point. Crawford, as of now, is campaigning at 140. Plus, Garcia just announced his fight with Thurman, which is what we all want. He should absolutely not be thinking of anything else. It's ****** to mention Crawford to Garcia, right now at least.

I'm with Garcia on this one. No point in fighting a guy who stunk up the place in his last fight. There's not even any money there. It's like fighting Rigo.

How many PPV's does Garcia have? How did you like that crowd last night in Philly compared to the ones Crawford brings in?

I guarantee you Crawford will become a bigger star than Garcia.
