Freitas-Raheem: Meeting at the Crossroads

These are some articles I penned, although for other reasons I had to have it posted by others. I just sent these articles everywhere, and had every major website spammed with my articles on a weekly basis. It started out as posters asking me via e-mail "Are you Ryan?" to high praise from mods at a few sites. Then I got an e-mail from G. Leon asking me to write about this prospect, remembering that I told everyone that I will write about any fighter, any time. So I pounded this little guy out and bam! Now I'm a writer. I was on the high school newspaper, the editor while still a junior. I am currently sending some of my material to all the local papers, including New York Times and Daily News.

Good looks. I was told that I could interview fighters and that type of stuff. My boy, whos a writer there, he told me he got to meet alot of fighters. He got to go to exclusive post fight parties, do interviews and all that type of stuff. I can't wait to get in there and do that type of stuff.

It's good for a first article but it reads more like a factual press release than an actual arcticle that would express opinions and ****. Some of that wit and sarcasm would add a bit of flavour to it but then again i dont know what kind of piece ********** wanted off you... Good job though.

For my first article, I decided not to be cynical at all. To be honest, I think Flores sucks balls, plain and simple. This article here Freitas-Raheem: Meeting at the Crossroads is simply me gratuitously ripping into 2 proven contenders. Look for this style of writing in the future.

Yeah I see what you're saying. I read your freitas-raheem article and it was better but there was still too much descibing what happened in the fight and just general facts for my liking. Imo what makes articles interesting is the way the author expresses himself and his opinions as anyone can describe what happens in a fight and quote facts...still, props on getting your **** published, its a great start.
