I'm not a fan of Spence at this point until I see him breath fire and go out of his way to make fights happen. It's been 3 months since his last fight and no talk of his come back has surfaced. As it stands, Brook has two months to decide before starting the Spence talks. That means Spence would be inactive for almost a year. I'm not a fan of inactive fighters. Look at him. He's not even concerned about it.

Negotiations for Brook/Spence was supposed to start Oct 24th. He had to wait until Brook decided if he was vacating or defending. Brook asked for and received a 90 day extension. Now he has to wait until January. He can't do anything until Hearn & Brook decide what they're doing. As of right now they're looking to go in another direction. If they get the Pacquiao fight then Spence will fight Horn for the title. Why do you want him to fight somebody else and risk delaying his shot at the title? And why are you putting the blame on Spence for Hearn & Brook delaying the fight?

If Brook would've fought his unification with Vargas this fight would've been made with either Vargas or Brook. By March we'd have two fighters in the welterweight division holding 2 belts each & a full unification by the end of 2017.

Pac/Brook is far from happening. Arum would rather continue making in-house fights. You should worry about Brook's reignited obsession with Khan. That would effectively derail any talk of Spence fight. What I'm saying is Spence should be proactive and impose deadlines. If the year ends without negotiations getting started, that would be 5 months of inactivity for Spence. Give or take another 3-4 months of initial talks, promotions, training, etc. leading to the fight, that would be 8-9 months of inactivity. Man the guy would need a tune up fight for such long layoff.

He has to wait for Brook's medical extension before negotiations can begin.... he has a guaranteed shot at the title, if he takes another fight a moron like you will say he doesn't want to fight Brook. You are more unreasonable and ridiculous than the people who think Brook is avoiding him.

Spence can't impose any deadlines. The deadlines are set by the IBF. There's nothing he can do at this point but be patient. The year will end without negotiations because the IBF has set the deadline for negotiations to begin in January. How can Spence force negotiations outside of the rules? Do you know some super secret IBF rules that Spence isn't aware of? There won't be 3-4 months of negotiations. They have 30 days or it goes to purse bid AND the fight must be staged within 120 days of the time negotiations begin in January. The IBF isn't like the WBA. They follow their rules to the letter of the law. The thing that would delay the fight is Spence fighting someone else & risking a cut or broken hand.

That's fine bro. Case should be closed until some things begin to develop. Right now it makes no sense uttering his name.
