Yes these things are subjective are they not... but at least I'm fair, are you? I acknowledge Ward will get dirty if it becomes that type of fight...but Kovalev fans seem to only point the finger at Wards illegal tactics and are making excuses whilst Kovalev has shown even more malice behind his fouls.

When we see a pattern its not a coincedense no longer...I submitted examples from three different fighters: Mohhamedi, Pascal, and Chilemba....but you Kovalev stans always say its someone else fault...SHAME.

I'm going to be fair : I seen Mohhamedi hurt and naturally tried to clinch to recover...but Kovalev hates being tied up so he pushed and thrust his opponent forcing him to lose his balance and then Kovalev drove a knee to his mid-section. Against Pascal Kovalev came lunging with a jab to set up his right but Pascal ducked and naturally they got entangled but once again Kovalev likes to control and push his weight on too his opponent like Klitsckho....then in the Chilemba sequence Issac was trying to feint or evade an attack that he perceived was coming from the top naturally his instincts provoked him to go under it....and they collided.

In all these examples I see Kovalev taking it upon himself to dispatch his foe as he sees fit and ignores the ref and pushes and shoves his opponents ( violating the rules ) when they are vulnerable and hes very mean spirited too...when was the last time Andre Ward out of rage threw his opponent simply out of frustration that he could not get a KO? I genuinely fear for Andres safety with this ref.

Good points. Kov is known for that and he won't be able to do it to Ward because Andre is smart enough to help his head upright when moving in (which is the reason for occasional accidental head butts, though no one will admit it).

Byrd is a mixed choice, IMO. He's too invasive at times but I believe he's experienced enough to know not to spoil a fight of this magnitude. Both of these guys are rough and need to be able to get gritty while not being permitted flagrant actions. Let's hope for the best.

Nevada really needs to start getting some different officials it's the same 5 or 6j udges always seems & the same refs ... other than balusters Tony Weeks it's a it's a crapshoot with the refs... I think the only have four or five in the whole state I need to bring somebody different and to get some confidence judging God forbid I think it's fights like this to somebody like Giampa or Byrd, inconsistent judges...

Byrd is a fat lazy **** who always misses low blows and rabbit punches..... Ward and his promoter are idiots for allowing this fatass... Kenny bayless is the only ref that can handle a dirty guy like kovalev with his rabbit punching
