Dude has a five inch reach advantage and is over two inches taller yet can't utilise them enough to win the first time, he was the only man really hurt last time too. If he opens up more Frampton will stop him.
I expect nothing more from Cruz except the same performance in the hope the pro Mexi fan base is enough to edge the fight for himself, personally I think the scores will be wider than last time and more convincing. I don't see what Cruz can do different, he's just too cumbersome.
Not particularly impressed with either fighter tonight. Frampton was really reckless, especially in the early rounds. He was missing lots of big winging shots.
Close fight but LSC deserved the win. At least they'll have a third fight but Frampton needs to work on getting inside and working the body more early in the fight.
If Cruz is to land more he has to open up more, regardless of whether you accept Cruz was hurt or was off balance the shot he was hit with would have knocked him over if not for the ropes resulting in an even wider win than the 117-111 recorded by one judge.
Over rated work, smh. You've been on this forum a long time and have a lot of posts but this one is some whopper, Frampton was the clearer technician, Cruz threw an excessive amount of punches at nothing, hitting nothing ! His opponent being five inches shorter in reach and a few inches shorter, for all Cruz's advantages he simply can not utilise them well enough.
