Lucas explained later that that was an error, that he was actually 153. http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=584151

And that's pretty consistent with his fight night weight against Postol, and others:

It's not that his soul is gone it's that his aura of invincibility is gone and he's very tough!
Just has a bad eye injury in which can easily be career threatening so I understand his plight!

Lucas Matthysse is a beast and was just 1 trainer change away to fulfilling what I thought would happen!

He should retire or stayed with Haymon so he could've took easy fights and get paid more!

Hell he gets tough fights and gets paid less but has.a solid resume but not champ!

He is shot and won't do anything at 147.

You should had hired a new trainer and moved to the US long ago. And if the crew you had was really like family they would had understood the move without holding any grudges.

140 is tough... but 147 is a lot tougher. He won't break top 10... top 15 is not even a sure thing.

He should aim to get the biggest money fight for himself and cash out.

                  JMM vs Lucas.

Too Late. He's not a big time performer in a championship title fights. He looks shot and past his prime against Postol.

Khan will be looking for a tune up fight, so Lucas should be perfect, unless Khan thinks he hits too hard? Lucas probably would KO Khan now that I think about it.
