I don't think 55% of white votes for Trump in of itself means they are racist, unless they had racist motives which you can't possibly put on all (or even most) of them.

But I wanted to add that black people for the last few decades or so have voted consistently 85% or more for the ********ic candidate. ***** getting 95% was a bit higher than normal but not obscenely so relatively speaking. There would be grounds for some sharper criticism if 95% of them had voted in say Ben Carson.
