Here's Froch's reply.
@TomLoeffler1 @EddieHearn @GGGBoxing @wembleystadium he needs to fight somebody credible very soon, but as you have been, stay away from 168

Looks like they were "negotiating" without him knowing.

He's no walk in the park, in fact he probably has a decent chance of winning.
Does this fight not get you excited?

I've seen that froch can be outboxed, which is true, since he's been behind on cards to both Taylor and groves.
And that ward should stop getting p4p credit for a win that was 5 years old.
And yes, even this version of froch beats all current smw, which is why screaming for golovkin to move up is ******. Current smws suck ass.
As for credit, I would give more credit to ward for beating a prime froch, but to say this is a meaningless fight for golovkin is idiotic and fanboyish. Froch is a much bigger man. Golovkin would be giving up 3 inches and at least 15 pounds in the ring. Carl said he can't make 168 last year.

Froch beats any of the SMW out there in his first fight back so he's chasing the best guy. Now because he's not "young and prime", you're going to trash him? He may as well fight Callum Smith then. I mean he's young and in his prime right.
Let's not take skill level in consideration or anything.
Fighting retired Froch means jack.
