GGG has a weak resume, that's a fact! However, he has already done enough to warrant a fight with Canelo Alvarez immediately! What his resume does not do, especially PPV numbers, gate numbers, etc., is prove that he done enough to be turning down an offer for $10 million dollars! Now if GGG vs. Jacobs is a successful PPV event, say 500,000 PPVs, then he would be in a much stronger position to make a demand for more money.

Please explain your reasoning for thinking fighting any of those guys who don't have a belt, so how does that help Jacobs with negotiating leverage. All GGG has to do is take the purse bid split of 75-25.

Jacobs in every facet is much more of complete fighter than lemieux. lemieux may have more punching power, but thats it. he can also eat a good jab!

You not serious are you? Lemieux can't even make 160 anymore, Stevens been fighting his way back up from contender status, lee damn near retired, and Monroe lol deserves no comment

Fraudverez won't fight GGG until he's probably in his forties and which means it will never happen or until mentally you really believe he has a chance to beat them at this point he does not believe that...

I haven't weighed in on this before but I agree 100% with this. I think he or his management are idiots for not taking this offer. Hardly excusable IMO...

Be the ****ing 'B' side GGG and get it done! Beat his ass and you're the man.

Exactly! I've said this all of 2015, that even if GGG had to go to 155, it was still in his benefit to fight Canelo, whoop that azz, and have the rematch @ 160. I guess pride has it's price, but Canelo did pretty well for himself in 2016, and GGG fought who? Dominic Wade? Who came out on top, Canelo vs. Khan, or GGG vs. Brook? Take the $10 million, but demand the fight for Cinco De Mayo 2017!

Funny thing is Brook was a tougher test for GGG than Jacobs would be.

Yeah, I agree. He needs to whoop Canelo and move on to bigger and better things. The prospect of a Canelo fight has him stagnating in the middleweight division.
