chavez cant make 164, sure he would sign the fight for the money but you know hes coming in at like 167 or 168. The issue is that nelo is a big name fighter and he would have stiff weight penalties, so chavez could make almost nothing.

then is chavez even a draw anymore for nelo to bother with going up to 164. nelo would make more just fighting cotto again. chavezs career has been in the toilet.

Now here's where it gets fun...Canelo has twice as many fights as GGG and walks around about 10 pounds heavier than him. His promoters want GGG to move up to fight Ward, yet I guarantee that Canelo wouldn't fight Chavez at 164 when that's easier for him to make than 154. Oh boxing politics!
