    Alvarez Fails Post-Fight Urinalysis

In a shocker, boxing scribe Kevin Iole of the Las Vegas Journal Review reported that former world champion Rosendo Alvarez failed a post-fight urinalysis after testing positive for the diuretic Furosemide, also known as lasix. Alvarez had already lost a piece of his purse for failing to make the 112 pound weight limit for his April 8 bout against Jorge Arce, but denies taking the drug to make weight. [details]

Alvarez is an idiot. You have to put chlorine in the piss test so it comes up invalid, giving you enough time to clean your system out in the sauna. HELLO!!!!

He should just move up in weight or train harder.
Uses the diuretic and still didn't make weight and got caught.

Nothing worse than cheating and not accomplishing the goal and ALSO getting caught for cheating and changes his story.

Sure cheating sucks but I gotta tell you something you sons a biches...

The Vargas's, the Tyson's and the Alvarez's of the world...sure the mother****ers cheated but I respect them a bit because they went into the fights with a win at all costs attitude.

Maybe its just because I cheat regularly I dont know... but I have always admired people who break the rules...it is very underrated.
