Bring attention to the sport when he shows up ringside for the big fights.

Hasn't he played a part in boxing promotions in the past? Wasn't he the owner of a venue that was used for a card? I could me mistaken, but I though that this was the case.

Surely he's a fight fan. I'm sure he's been in attendance in the past.

I'm pretty sure I came to know of Trump from boxing when he hosted fights in Atlantic City. Still seems like a yuge fan

I've come to the conclusion that this is a great thing for boxing. A president who's a big fight fan. Also, seeing as how he's unpredictable and crazy as freakin fack, he'll probably promote a few fights under his term! Once he gets settled in of course.

He/she hasn't really placed much thought in it...it just spews ignorance randomly.

The number of lawsuits and bankruptcies say otherwise.

                    This is going to good.

He seems to have an interest in fighting so maybe by that measure he gets boxing more talked about since he could mention random fights coming up or have some boxers come to the White House eventually. I think Tyson is a shoe in to get a White House visit before 2020. I believe he digs GGG to so that could end up having some upside for boxing &/or the guys he does like or randomly talk about in theory. I don't see anything he'll change with boxing doe. I mean maybe if he gets a 2nd term & someone comes up with some bill to magically make boxing better or do some good for boxing somehow or someway he'll fast track it, but beyond some slightly higher popularity gained by the President of the United States talking about boxing or about a particular boxer or fight I don't see much happening with Trump & boxing.
