Bh doesn't want ggg to break it though. He wants ggg to step up to light heavyweight and never go back to 160!Comment

WBA/IBF/IBO/WBC middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (36-0, 33KOs) is motivated to achieve two accomplishments before moving to 168-pounds. According to his trainer Abel Sanchez, Golovkin wants to unify the entire division by capturing the WBO middleweight crown - and he also wants to break the 20 defense record of Bernard Hopkins.

I actually believe Dirty Sanchez for once.
Golovkin is fixated with breaking Hopkins record, which is why he won't fight a threat.
THAT answers all of the bizarre questions hanging over Golovkin..... like why Mr "anyone from 154-168" totally refused to negotiate on the weight with Cotto..... like why he refused 10mil to fight Canelo..... like why they refused Lara..... like why they low-balled Saunders..... like why they never once chased the Jacobs fight, they never even mentioned him until they were mandated.
That is why they anxiously petitioned the WBA to sanction Kell Brook.
Fkn absolute fkn poosies !!Comment

Every other weight class we want guys to unify against other champions but when it comes to this guy we have people that would rather see him move up even if it's against a nobody like Zurdo....
Let the guy unify his titles, break the record, then see what he does. He's not gonna have any fights at MW in a year anyway unless some 154 guys move up.Comment

GGG does t have to move up onvce he beats BH 20 defence recoird. GGG will stay at 160 a d try to get to 30 title defenses.
Once he loses he can then move up like BH didComment

Sanchez and Freddy Roach should have a weekly one-hour call-in talk show to share their pearls of wisdom directly with the fans, on PPV at $10 buck a pop. That will, no doubt, generate more buys than GGG fights and probably Manny's last fight too.Comment
