manny pacquiao is an all time great boxer. one of the best ever. but he did NOT win world championships in eight divisions. he's got world titles in six divisions. you can't cry lineal in certain weight divisions and then count every alphabelt in other divisions. there's no logic in that. either you count the alphabelts or you count lineal. counting both to get yourself to eight divisions makes no sense.
