I've thought this was a close fight at first mention while leaning towards Ward, but as fights get closer I tend to start reallllly thinking about how a fight will go down, like my brain can only start digesting the fight for real as it gets closer, & my pick becomes less of a in theory pick & more of a visualization pick of how I'm seeing the fight actually going down in my head. And I just can't see Kovalev getting Corrales'd (vs Floyd) or not having some moments in the fight & I think a Kovalev moment in this fight can change it or end it based on what I've seen of Ward at 175. Ward's been looking a lil slower to & been getting dinged a couple times nicely I've felt. I think Ward's time out of the ring + his recent years vs opponents that couldn't hold his jockstrap will not serve him well in this fight. Whatever happens doe its getting close & I'm getting more excited for the fight.Comment

I want so bad for both these guys to win. Both Kovalev and Ward are examples of boxers doing things the right way.
So long as there's no controversy, I'll be happy with any outcome.Comment

in fact, didn't you account-bet someone to that effect ?
when you were proudly inviting folks to bet with you that the fight would not happen in 2016..... the ONLY reason why I did not take your pride (points) is because anything could have pushed that fight back until next year
your insistence that the fight simply had to happen this year, was absurd..... and your assurances that Ward would duck Kovalev, were even more absurd.....
