They (Pac's team) desperately need a knockout and are convinced it can happen at 140; however, Freddie and Koncz have already shown their disapproval for this fight, so I can't foresee it happening.

Why would it not be? In house fight + opportunity to launch his young talent into superstardom. They may milk it and maybe have 1-2 more fight(s) for both (possibly one on the same card) then stage a match by end of '17.

Nice rant except as usually you missed the entire point: Gamboa is a featherweight. Crawford will be fighting at WW soon.

So yeah if he can't handle Gamboa's power, what's going to happen when Pac tags him?

Terence Crawford is definitely a problem! If Lomachenko beats Walters, it will be Pacquiao vs. Lomachenko @ 140! Arum is correct on this one, the 2 styles will be fun to watch! TC would do exactly what Floyd did, and he'll win a UD in 12, and the fans will boo! I think Pacquiao's choices are Lomachenko @ 140, or Amir Khan @ 147!

Khan is a Haymon fighter. Brook needs to make it through Spence first.

Manny Pacquiao has been called many things but never a duck so I believe it. And furthermore Bob is probably at that stage where if Manny wins is good and if he looses against one of the guys he wants to turns into superstars thats good too its a win win. If the guy being built to be superstar looses to MP no shame in that if MP looses to the guy then he was just old and lost a step and its time for the new guy to rise up etc it's a good position to be in for Bob.
