On the other hand if Brook gets his ass beat by Spence Jr, a young guy in his own weight class there is ZERO sympathy from him. Trying to fight Pacquiao but ducking Spence Jr doesn't make you brave. That's like saying anybody who was seriously interested in fighting Floyd or Pac can't possibly be ducking any other WW because they want to fight the two best WW. you have to be ****** as shyt to say somethings like that. What WW wouldn't want to face Pacquiao? Dumb ass. If you lose to Pacquiao he is an a great HOF and your stock doesn't really drop much.

Brook knows Spence Jr would tap that ass, and there is a reason Brook doesn't want to fight his mando like he ALWAYS does, Spence Jr gives him that business. If it's not true Brook is in the position to make that fight and show and prove! But he doesn't want that action with Spence Jr. So he will gratefully hand my guy Spence his belt. Now these are facts homie
So wanting to fight Pacquiao equates to him ducking Spence? That's absurd man. Maybe he would rather not fight Spence, I just don't know, but you can't draw that conclusion just from him saying that he does want to fight Pac.

I take it you were one of the people saying Cotto 'ducked' his mando Golovkin to fight the much more lucrative Canelo then?

Is that official? That's good then, but I care a little less for that fight every day, if Canelo wants to be a bish Brook would be a good fight is all I'm saying.

His team spoke about moving up to 158 first and then 160. They aimed Golovkin for September 2017.

Enjoying the double standards, though. One of the main complaints most fans have about modern boxing is that the top fighters spend 99% of their time protecting their own interests and avoiding each other, yet boxers who actively attempt to make the big fights are accused of cowardice or cynicism.

I think the problem here is that Spence is American. Brook fights his mandatories: "Brook is fighting tomato cans! Why does he keep fighting his mandatories?". Brook tries to unify belts against an ATG: "Brook is scared of his mandatory! Why isn't he fighting Spence?" If his mandatory was an Estonian, none of y'all would give a flying f***. I assume it stems from your collective desperation to try and reverse the - frankly deeply embarrassing - state of affairs that sees a windy little rock have more world champions than the greatest financial, political and sporting powerhouse on earth. Never mind, my butthurt pretzel-eating chums - I'm sure Brook will get round to knocking Spence on his arse eventually.
It's a fact that Brook has not shown ANY interest in fighting Spence Jr. Brook went out of his way to say he would fight Pacquiao at 147 but has YET to say he wants to fight Spence Jr at 147.

It's clear Brooks voice works and he can and wants to fight at 147. He just said that. And NO he is not fuucking brave for wanting to fight either Mayweather or Pacquioa when ANY fighter from 140-147 would gladly fight those two even when they have a high chance of losing.

Hell even me and you would fight Pacquiao or Floyd so of course any boxer within that weight class would take that fight. Fighting Spence Jr on the other hand he gets his ass whipped that IBF snatched from him and his career takes a huge hit.

There is a reason Brook has not been openly speaking about getting his ass beat by Spence by asking for that fight.

If that bum Estonian or whatever the fuuck his name is was Brooks MANDATORY of course we wouldn't give a fuuck becuase he is a fuucking bum. Spence Jr is the FUTURE of boxing so we want to see him in there with a Brook.

End of the day the ball is in Brooks court. He can ask and fight Spence Jr, and shut everybody up. Or he can hand over the belt to Spence like a punk and move up in get his ass whipped at the higher weight. He is in a fuucked up position if Pac doesn't fight him next. He clearly doesn't want to walk down that road with Spence Jr, bad things wait in the loop.

Hell yeah he is ducking Spence. Who doesn't want to fight Pacquiao? Who doesn't want to fight Floyd? So saying that you want to fight one of those guys while CLEARLY avoiding your mando is a straight up fuucking duck. Brook has ZERO problem fighting all his other bum ass mando's like no-no Dan and Frankie Gaven and all those other bums I already forgot about. Now that Spence is next in line Brook doesn't want none.

People draw that conclusion because how often do you hear Brook say he wants to fight Spence Jr?????? The ball is in Brook's court. And Cotto has actually never made the 160 limit and fought there a few times. If he spent his career at 160 and fought scrub after scrub and when it was lil g's turn and he ducked him I would call him out for that shyt.

This is about Brook being scared of Spence Jr. This is the perfect time for Brook to say I'm keeping my IBF belt and Spence will have to come and take it from me. The problem if he said that Spence would come knock his ass out and forreal take his belt. So that's why Brook is being silent and being called a ducker.

I see you didn't really get my point but fair enough. Guy's not said he won't fight Spence, merely that he does want to fight Pacquiao, all the rest is the extrapolation of guys who want to see Spence get his shot. For what it's worth I agree up to a point. Mandatories are one of the few elements of the sport which keep it from becoming a complete free for all where match-ups are made solely on a risk / reward basis. So yeah, mandatories should be respected, and if Brook can't land a Pacquiao fight (which is likely) and if he doesn't move up to 154, then it's one of the rare occasions on which I'd say a fighter is ducking, but time will tell I guess.

Look man, I like Spence too, and he does deserve the shot, but I'm not gonna go screaming 'duck' just cos Brooks talking about Pac or Khan. That kinda ish happens all the time.

Him mentioning Pac doesn't make him a duck. Like I said if given the chance me and you would fight Pacquiao. Why people like myself and a whole bunch of others say he is ducking because he has YET to say he want to fight Spence Jr, when Brook has made a HISTORY of fighting his fuucking mandatory. Now that his mando is Spence Jr, Brook hasn't said shyt about fighting Spence yet he is talking about fighting Pacquiao.

If he had any urge or desire to fight Spence he could easily say I have the IBF belt and if he wants it he has to come and take it from me. It is that simple. The problem if he says that Spence is going to fight him and put a hurt on him.
