Is that 1.6M at $80 or $100? Cuz based on your 75% figure you're saying May vs Pac 2 at $100 would do 400,000 buys or that May vs Pac 2 at $80 would do 6.4M buys. And both those numbers are nuts. Obviously May vs Pac 2 isn't doing better than the 1st fight PPV-wise, but its not going as low as 400k over $20 either.

No way does Floyd vs Canelo II do more buys than the first fight. Canelo hasn't done anything since Floyd realllllly & his Floyd bump wasn't anything like Floyd's & Manny's Oscar bump. Although to be fair both Floyd & Manny won while Canelo lost so thats probably part of the reason he got no bump.

I think the main place you're mistaken is thinking people, mostly casuals mind you as the hardcores are gonna be on board at the same clip as usual, care about a MW belt being added to a rematch of a rather uneventful first bout. Its for sure gonna enhance Floyd's legacy, but I just don't see it doing all that much for the show's profits. Casuals care less about belts than hardcores. I'd even suggest that one of the reason some people are casuals now instead of hardcore fans still is because of all the confusion with all the belts & champions & rankings & alphabet groups.
No, I said 75% wouldn't buy it. Floyd vs Pac did 4.7 million buys. 75% of 4.7 is 3.45 million, so May vs Pac 2 does 4.7 - 3.45 = 1.15 Million PPV. I then later acknowledged your opinions for the benefit of the doubt that ''hardcore fans'' of Pac would still buy it regardless, so let's say 1.6 million at $79.99

Again, industry, from Bayless, Smith, Kellerman, Rafael, ESPN, everybody were disgusted with the performance and shot down $100 bucks as a waste of money. How much of the Pac fan percentage that watched that fight agreed with what industry complained about? I say 75% agree, because once you lose to Floyd in their mind, the hope's been tainted. Now look at the Vargas bout...I say there's only 25% of Pac fans from the Floyd bout that would buy Bout II. I'm telling you man, Floyd vs Pac II is shot, and atm industry, at least some, are trying to keep that image possible...but Roach is a joke..and Pac is not the brightest to hype rematches against Floyd... so..

Look Floyd watching the Vargas bout was to show respects to Jessie from old TMT along with Cooper. Nothing more. Of course Floyd would love the idea of a rematch IF Pac stole the show like a Cotto or Margarito bout. He left all bummed face. Also, Arum CONFIRMED that Floyd contacted him for seats for him and his daughter as well as friends. OR Arum covered all that up and did invite Floyd to stir attention. If that was the gameplan and Floyd acknowledged it behind the scenes, then there should still be skepticism if Floyd enjoyed the outcome.

Again, Floyd was in a foul mood...

Okay so you aren't on the 75% thing anymore or you are? Cuz 1.6M at $80 = 400k at $100 & I just don't see that being possible for the fight to go that low unless some crazy **** goes down & negatively affects the fight & the buys.

Yea I know people are upset about MayPac I & that is gonna have impact on MayPac II, if it were to occur, I just don't think it'd be as catastrophic as you are suggesting. But I mean ultimately we are close to being in the same ballpark with MayPac II (I say 2M+, you say 1.6M). On the other hand we are way off on our opinions about another uneventful first fight with Floyd vs Canelo (you are saying 2.6M, more than the 1st fight & I'm saying a mill less or thereabouts with 1.5M+). The allure of 50-0 is there whoever Floyd fights so thats a wash & a bs title belt no one respects or understands outside of hardcores isn't bringing in THAT many more people.

I mean Broner has won titles in one less division as Floyd as of now. Multi divisional success is way overrated & easier to accomplish then ever with all these belts out there.

Not sure what you are trying to say with all this, but people do **** all the time that means something & means nothing & I think whatever you might be trying to say here is one of those means nothing type things. Personally I believe Floyd is using potential comeback talk right now as a benefit to his promotional entity & fighters more than him coming back is something thats legit on the table right now.
