    Pacquiao shot?

I know this going to hurt one side of nsb.. but after watching last nights performance in my opinion it's safe to say he is shot and you won't ever see another great performance unless he faces a less than b level fighter. Before you go off on some crazy nonsense re watch the first 6 rounds and watch those feet , stuck in the mud .. very little to no bounce , reflexes slow as a goat
And the most important detail .... he just went 12 rounds with a guy like Jesse Vargas .. who 5 or even 2 years ago manny would have him waking up with his clothes out of style

Future? no mayweather fight .. no real opponent .. just retire with a win at this point

If you don't see the improvement in Vargas over the last couple of years you're blind. He's only 27 years old and he's looking better every fight. And he's fighting top level competition. Vargas is a problem for any of the other welterweights out there

Im a huge Manny fan and I saw a shot Manny too. He had problem countering the jab and was wayyy too hesitant to throw. He had him by the 10th round. Dont get me wrong, hes still good but if he faces a big puncher, I think he willget KOd again. The sad part is that it is what is going to happen at some point, cause he will fight again, thats for sure. I wish he would just hang them up. Freddie should tell him that its time now

Vargas looks 100x's better than he did earlier in his career when he had some controversial wins. And he's doing it against future hall of famers. He dominated another contender when he won his belt. He looked better against Pac than he did against Bradley. After that KD Vargas kept his composure and came back and won some rounds. He had Manny in there thinking. Manny admitted it after the fight. We know Vargas can hold his own against the top welterweights. Can you say the same about the other welterweights? Who have they fought? Vargas has big fight experience. That's a big advantage over the other welterweights if they choose to fight him

I think some of you need to look up shot, or at least have a better understanding of the word if you are going to use it.

Over the hill? Yes. Shot? No.

No fighter knocks down and beats a world champion calibre fighter when they are shot. Had he lost, yes than he is shot.

Depends on what your definition of 'shot' is. But for me, no. Clearly not the fighter he once was, but two dominant wins over top 10 welterweights doesn't meet the definition of shot as it's been understood historically. Might he be dismantled by a Crawford or a Brook if he fought them now? Perhaps, but until that happens you have to say he's still right up there.

With this level, Manny still beats all active WW.

Not shot but he's lost another step. Getting closer and closer to shot.

But he's till fought and beaten back-to-back two top 10 Welterweights, which is pretty damn good.
