I had it 117-111, giving a swing rd to Vargas. 114-113 is just biased or ignorant. No other excuse. Vargas could not have taken 6 rounds.

I gave Vargas a solitary round. Maybe an argument can be made for one of the middle rounds but nothing else. When I heard that I thought "oh ****, they're gonna pull a Bradley here"

It appears Manny fans probably Filipinos can't score fights and probably score fights like the crowd at the fight giving Pac props everytime he moves
Look at the TR scorecards they were getting from Twitter, In the Donaire fight they gave Magdaleno 1 round and they also gave Vargas 1 round. Boxing fans proved they can't score worth Sh.it tonight
and you are using Twitter to prove your point?

The scoring of boxing is for sure something that needs some work.
I believe the guidelines for scoring should be made much more clearer to better define what wins & what doesn't. Most rulebooks I've seen have a extremely subjective take on what a judge can consider a winning round. I also think there is a need to make more distinction between winning rouns. I think a 10-9 close round, a 10-8 clear round & a 10-7 dominate round with a knockdown further illustrates the distance between the skill levels of fighters not unlike the change from just winning a round 1-0, regardless of knockdowns, to the 10 point must system that took place back in the day. Thats a understated & underconsidered problem in my eyes.
I also think open scoring would help in letting boxers know where they stand with the judges & to adapt to any nutty judge(s) that could f#ck them over. I know thats probably a more controversial opinion, but I've always thought ideally we should all know (& I think we do now largely) who's winning & losing the fight & that the "suspense" of a decision being announced is more the suspense of a robbery more often than its suspense of the winner. Plus I think the added drama when everyone, including the boxers, knew a fight was going to be decided in the last round would be worth the trade off of more guys running out the clock, like some do already in clearly won fights late, in the final couple rounds when they knew a fight was decided on the cards already. I also contend you could adapt boxing rules to punish guys who are avoiding the fight so it would reduce the running out of the clock if it became too much of a problem with fans leaving early or what have you.
And finally I think having a system of judging the judges is key to moving the cream to the top & getting the bad judges working on the less important fights or out of the game completely if they can't work on the holes in their judging.

Makes boxing a JOKE to be honest, hell Adalaide Byrd is still a ***ing judge so that tells you clearly that people are turning a blind eye to corruption in boxing it is PITIFUL I mean SERIOUSLY and I don't see any serious effort to clean up the corruption with Judges at all they all continue to work and score fights despite their questionable cards

I don't think this was corruption, probably just below average judging. I scored it 116-111 and could've seen a point going either way from there. Granted, my stream was in and out so I missed some small portions of a couple rounds, but I thought it was definitely closer than 118-109
