it was an awesome fight, but Monte really got beat up at points. I don't think he beats any of the champions aside from Brewster maybe.

i dont think anyone mentioned barrets cut man. he was the only reason he was able to stay in the fight and do what he did. the cut was nasty and his cutman stopped the bleeding in like 2 rounds

That was a fun fight to watch and I'm very happy for Monte. The only champion I could see him beating is Brewster though, but he said he wanted Byrd. Thats a first, somebody calling out Chris Byrd!!

James Toney calls Chris Byrd out everytime he does an interview. Byrd has yet to accept.

nice action fight between two mediocre Heavyweights. Neither can beat the "champs"..except Brewter of course....does he still count?

Nice fight but Klichko would have killed either one of them. Funny how Barrett talked **** about Klichko knowing that Klichko will not fight him in the nearest future. Vitaliy should let his little brother do the job, he's done it once, he can do it again.

I like Barrett but he was acting like a buffoon after the fight. I think he'll have some luck against Brewster and Byrd but he'll lose to Ruiz's sleeper style and Vitali is just too damn big for him. Barrett has trouble against bigger heavy's, that is why he lost to Lance "the lochness monster" Whitaker.

Monte might not be the biggest puncher, but just because he knocked out Beck, doesn't mean Beck has a glass chin.

The first knockdown was a good punch at a nice angle, but Beck was right back up. The other two knockouts were attrition KO's. I don't care how good your chin is, if someone keeps landing shot after shot after shot, your going down. And remember to Beck's credit, he kept standing up.

What a great fight though. I was lik "this is gonna be another heavyweight sleeper" but I was wrong. Barett worked those uppercuts beautifully but Beck was landing way too much as well. Tough fight for both but I wasn't too convinced of the win simple cuz Barett looked exhausted and even rocked a couple of occasion. He should work on a better D.

I thought that if Beck had fought a little smarter then he had that fight in the bag. Did anyone else notice all the elbows, forarms and shoulder usage Barrett had going on ? I know, you guys think I nit pick them for being "dirty"..but damn, even Nady (a little too involved at times maybe??) kept telling him to stop it already! I loved how he complained to Nady about that headbutt that he caused too...nice move!
